For The Third Year in a Row, The Minago Critical Minerals Project Team Attendsthe PDAC Conference in Toronto and Makes a Strong Impact

The Minago Critical Minerals Project’s participation at

PDAC 2026 marked an important milestone for Minago

Development GP, Inc. (Minago) and Norway House Cree

Nation (NHCN). PDAC is the largest mining

conferences in the world with approximately 30,000

attendees from over 125 countries.

At the Manitoba Reception, the Honorable Jamie Moses, Minister of Business, Mining, Trade and Job Creation, announced a $2 million investment in Minago Critical Minerals Project. Minister Moses is pictured centre with Clayton Scribe a NHCN Miner to his right and Dan Ingalls Director of Business Development at Minago on his left.

This support from the Manitoba Government is expected to generate economic benefits for the people living in the region by providing training for First Nation participants as well as jobs. This project uses clean technology and advanced manufacturing, while remaining focused on protecting the land, water and air.

The Minister spoke enthusiastically saying that “the Critical Minerals project is an incredible opportunity for Manitoba and for Canada and that this partnership with a First Nation sets us on the precipice of a new way of doing business here in Canada.

During the 4-day conference the team attended various meetings with senior officials from both the Federal and Provincial governments as well as many potential investors who were eager to explore future collaborative opportunities.

The Minago team also made a significant impact

by participating in the trade show portion of the

conference. We were able to showcase our

project and values on an international stage while

strengthening relationships across the mining

sector. We thank the Indigenous Chamber of

Commerce who generously sponsored our booth.

We were honoured to have Norway House Cree Nation band

members Dan Ingalls and Clayton Scribe join our team at the

booth. Their presence and engagement played a key role in

building connections and sharing the story behind the

Minago Critical Minerals Project.

Overall, the experience of all Minago team members was that many opportunities emerge when First Nations, industry, community, and government come together with a shared vision. We look forward to building on the relationships formed at the conference and advancing the project with renewed energy.
